Apology in Queensland’s Parliament for forced adoptions


The premier of Queensland, Campbell Newman, apologised in Parliament yesterday (Tuesday 27th November) for the past policy of forced adoptions between the 1950’s and 1970’s in Queensland bringing comfort and closure to many mother’s and sons involved.
